Think Differently And Allow Excitment Into Life

Think of something that is out of the ordinary for you to do.  Now, think of something that is out of your routine.  Think of something you would love to have the courage to do.  Now do them. One by one.

Humans are creatures of habit, and so we have a tendency to repeat ourselves time and time again.  We must have the courage to leave a door open for changes to take place. If we don’t are lives stay the same.

I know when I am caught in some dramatic exchange, if I just open the door and walk out, I will either put an end to the situation or I’ll change the dynamics substantially.  If I give myself the chance to change the exchange, I’ll give breathing room.  But taking that first step to go out, walk around, get affected by the weather and other people, somehow seems difficult.   Again we are creatures of habit.

So I practice changes.  I practice doing something different on a daily basis.  It can be as simple as having chocolate ice-cream instead of vanilla and it can be as complex as calling someone to go out a date, I would’ve never had the courage to call until I picked up that  phone for the first time.  By taking action I strengthen myself and create opportunity.

If we really think about it, we have nothing to lose by being spontaneous and trying something new.  If our ego is strong, then it’s all fun.  Plus it keeps ups from being, behaving and acting the same way time and time again.  It makes life fresh.

Make a list of things you would like to do and cross one off at time each day.  It will make you feel alive excited and mostly it will show you different sides of life.

Be brave, be different, be you.

Just living is not enough.  One must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower.  ~Hans Christian Anderson
