Jumping To Conclusions

I’ve spent my lifetime doing just that; jumping to conclusions.  Maybe I did it because I’m Latin or maybe because I’m a Sagittarian (fire sign) but if something sounded or seemed wrong, I wanted to fix it right then and there.  Needless to say I got myself in a lot of trouble accusing others or reacting to a situation and making it worse.

I got so tired of jumping to conclusions that I made a promise to myself to be more Asian in dealing with life.  What I mean by being Asian is listening and processing the facts with calm and then making an adequate decision in how to deal with the situation at hand.

I’m still working at being Asian but I can promise you it is a much better way to deal with life’s challenges.  We are so often stressed out that is easy for us and others to fly off the handle and turn difficult situations into complete disasters.

So next time you find yourself wanting to strangle someone or scream off the top of your lungs; be Asian.
